Hammer Metals has commenced a reverse-circulation drilling program at its Kalman Project located near Mount Isa in North West Queensland. The initiative aims to target copper, gold, and other critical metals, focusing on open-pit resources to support
an updated mineral resource estimate and a Scoping Study. The company plans to upgrade the remaining inferred open-pit resource, which is currently less than 35%, to 'indicated status'. The drilling will also test shallow mineralization at the southern end of the proposed open pit to expand near-surface resources. Additionally, high-grade shoot potential will be explored at the Lady Jenny deposit, and higher-grade potential will be assessed at Blackrock within the broader iron oxide, copper, and gold prospect. The drilling is expected to conclude in May 2026, with results anticipated later that month. The updated Kalman resource will inform a new Scoping Study, incorporating Overlander, Lakeview, and other nearby Hammer-owned copper-gold resources.
