The data centre is interconnected with other Equinix facilities in Mumbai and Chennai, providing a robust cloud ecosystem for customers. This expansion aligns with India's growing digital economy, which is projected to reach $1 trillion by 2027-2028.
Why It's Important?
The launch of MB3 by Equinix is a strategic move to capitalize on the rapid expansion of digital services in India. As the country's digital economy grows, there is an increasing demand for reliable and scalable data infrastructure. Equinix's investment in Mumbai enhances its ability to support AI, machine learning, and data-intensive applications, which are critical for businesses transitioning to digital platforms. This expansion not only strengthens Equinix's presence in the Indian market but also supports the broader digital transformation efforts in the region. The facility's advanced capabilities will enable enterprises to efficiently manage their digital operations and connect with leading cloud service providers.
