Indian filmmaker Payal Kapadia has been appointed as the president of the jury for the 65th Cannes Critics’ Week, scheduled to run from May 13-21, 2026. Kapadia, known for her award-winning film 'All We Imagine
as Light,' will lead a jury comprising Canadian actor Théodore Pellerin, French singer-songwriter Oklou, Ghanaian-British producer Ama Ampadu, and journalist Donsaron Kovitvanitcha. The jury will award prizes for best feature, best actor or actress, and best short film.
