Arkansas has been awarded a $35.8 million cooperative agreement from the U.S. Department of Labor to spearhead a nationwide expansion of registered apprenticeship programs in advanced manufacturing. This
initiative, managed by the Arkansas Department of Commerce, positions the state as the sole national administrator of the American Manufacturing Apprenticeship Incentive Fund. The program aims to create and sustain apprenticeships in over 120 advanced manufacturing occupations across the country.
