Royal Gold, Inc. has announced a restructuring of its ownership in the Hod Maden Project, a high-grade gold-copper development in Turkey. The restructuring involves reducing Royal Gold's direct equity ownership in Artmin Madençilik from 30% to 15% and
granting a new 2.5% net smelter return royalty interest over the project. SSR Mining, Inc. will sell its interests in Artmin to Lidya Madençilik, which will assume operatorship of the project. SSR will receive a 4.0% net smelter return royalty interest. The restructuring aims to preserve Royal Gold's value in the project while aligning its interests with its core royalty and streaming business.
