Mikel Brown Jr., a standout player for the Louisville Cardinals, has been awarded the Naismith Men's College Player of the Week, as well as the ACC Player and Rookie of the Week. This recognition follows his exceptional performances in two consecutive games. Brown scored 45 points in a significant victory over NC State, tying the record for most points in a game by a Louisville player and setting a new ACC record for a freshman. He also made 10 three-pointers, tying a school record, and became the first Division I player in over 30 years to achieve at least 45 points, 10 made threes, and 9 rebounds in a single game. In a subsequent game against Baylor, Brown continued his impressive form, scoring 29 points and contributing significantly to his team's
