The Ellis-Beauregard Foundation, in collaboration with the Points North Institute, has announced a new annual award for documentary filmmakers. The Ellis-Beauregard Foundation Documentary Film Award will
provide a $50,000 grant to a feature-length documentary in post-production. The award aims to support artist-driven work that challenges conventions in nonfiction cinema. Applications will be open from March 1-31, with a focus on projects expected to be completed by summer 2027.
