Eleanor Holmes Pelcher, affectionately known as 'Ellie,' passed away peacefully on March 27, 2026, in Rochester, NY. She was predeceased by her husbands, Edmund 'Tom' Holmes and Kenneth 'Ken' Pelcher. Ellie is survived by her son Brian Holmes, his wife
Kelly, and their daughter Vivienne, along with several stepchildren and grandchildren. A graduate of State College High School, Lock Haven University, and Nazareth College, Ellie was actively involved in various community organizations, including Saint Kateri Parish and the Irondequoit Art Club.
