What's Happening?
The 12th annual sled hockey event hosted by Adaptive Sports Ohio took place in Wooster, bringing together athletes, community leaders, and volunteers to promote inclusive recreation. Sled hockey, an adaptive version of ice hockey, allows individuals with
physical disabilities to participate using specially designed sleds. The event featured the Wooster Wildcats, a team that practices at the Alice Noble Ice Arena. Wayne County Commissioner Dave McMillen participated, emphasizing the event's role in fostering competition and teamwork among athletes with disabilities.
