Citi has announced a new promotion offering a 30% bonus on points transfers from its ThankYou program to the I Prefer Hotel Rewards program of Preferred Hotels & Resorts. This offer is available from May 17 to June 13, 2026. Typically, points transfer at
a 1:2 ratio, but during this promotion, 1,000 Citi ThankYou points will convert to 2,600 I Prefer Hotel Rewards points. This marks the first transfer bonus since I Prefer Hotel Rewards was added as a Citi ThankYou transfer partner in late 2024. Despite the bonus, the current transfer ratio is less favorable than the previous 1:4 ratio. Preferred Hotels & Resorts is a collection of over 650 independent luxury hotels worldwide, including notable U.S. properties like the Baccarat Hotel New York and the Post Ranch Inn.
