Alef Aeronautics has announced the commencement of production for the Alef Model A Ultralight, touted as the world's first true flying car. This innovative vehicle, capable of both vertical liftoff and road travel, is set to be available to select customers by early 2026. The Model A is fully electric and designed to navigate urban environments with ease, offering a 220-mile driving range and a 110-mile flight range. The vehicle's dual functionality is made possible by eight rotors and four engines, allowing it to transition seamlessly between air and ground travel. The presale price is set at $300,000, with 3,500 pre-orders already placed.
