Nexen Tire has been chosen to supply original equipment (OE) tyres for the Renault Filante, a hybrid crossover produced by Renault Korea. The South Korean tyre manufacturer will provide its Roadian GTX
all-season tyres, specifically designed for hybrid powertrains, which require enhanced performance due to the combination of an electric motor and an internal combustion engine. The 19-inch tyres are tailored for SUVs and crossover utility vehicles, featuring a zigzag tread pattern for even road pressure distribution and stable handling. Additionally, the tyres are optimized for low noise, catering to the quiet ride characteristics of electrified vehicles. This selection marks a continuation of Nexen Tire's partnership with Renault Korea, following their previous supply for the Grand Koleos mid-size SUV in 2024.
