Nolan Groves, a former Minnesota Gatorade Player of the Year, has committed to the University of Minnesota Gophers basketball team after transferring from Texas Tech. Groves, who was originally committed to Yale, had a standout senior season at Orono
High School, averaging 34.1 points, 8.5 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 3.0 steals per game. His performance led to him reopening his recruitment, with Minnesota and other schools showing interest.
