Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts has introduced a new brand structure with two sub-brands, Bahia Principe Explore and Bahia Principe Escape, aimed at enhancing guest experiences. This rebranding effort includes a modernized visual identity and the integration
of over 20 resorts into the World of Hyatt loyalty program. The Bahia Principe Explore sub-brand targets families and groups, while Bahia Principe Escape focuses on adults-only experiences with wellness and premium dining. This strategic shift replaces previous categories and aligns with the company's 'Fully & Freely' brand positioning. The Piñero-Hyatt joint venture owns and operates these resorts, marking Bahia Principe as the ninth brand in Hyatt’s Inclusive portfolio.

This rebranding and integration into the World of Hyatt loyalty program significantly enhance Bahia Principe's market presence, offering nearly 12,000 rooms to Hyatt's 63 million members. The move is poised to attract a broader audience by catering to diverse guest preferences, from family-oriented vacations to adult-only retreats. This strategic alignment with Hyatt's loyalty program could drive increased bookings and customer retention, benefiting both Bahia Principe and Hyatt.
