A new playlist series, The Independent Booker Spotlight, will be introduced, featuring playlists curated by independent bookers selected by NIVA in collaboration with Spotify's editorial team. Additionally, Spotify will display a 'Certified Live Independent' seal on venue pages to highlight their independent status. This initiative builds on Spotify's previous efforts to support independent venues, including a $500,000 donation to the #SaveOurStages fund and the NIVA emergency relief fund during the pandemic.
