Disney Cruise Line has announced its next ship, the Disney Believe, which is scheduled to set sail in late 2027. This new addition will feature experiences inspired by popular Disney films such as Encanto, Frozen, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Moana,
and The Little Mermaid. The announcement was made during Disney's annual shareholders meeting, where CEO Josh D'Amaro highlighted the ship's theme of honoring 'dreamers and doers.' The Disney Believe will be the ninth ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet and the fourth in the Wish-class series, following the Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, and Disney Destiny. The ship's construction began with a Steel Cutting ceremony in Papenburg, Germany. This expansion is part of Disney Cruise Line's broader plan to grow its fleet to 13 ships by 2031, including a new class of ships in 2029 and an agreement to introduce Disney cruise vacations to Japan.
