What's Happening?
Scottsdale Art Week is set to return for its second edition from March 19-22, 2026, at the Westworld of Scottsdale. Building on the success of its inaugural event, the art fair will feature over 110 galleries from across the globe, including local stalwarts
like Anticus Gallery and international names such as Blond Contemporary from London. The event, presented by Scottsdale Ferrari, will showcase a diverse array of artworks, including blue-chip, modern, contemporary, historic, Indigenous, and Western art. The fair aims to tap into Scottsdale's relatively untapped market, offering galleries a platform to connect with new audiences. Complementary programming will be provided in partnership with major institutions like the Phoenix Art Museum and the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art.
Why It's Important?
The return of Scottsdale Art Week highlights the growing significance of the Southwest region in the international art scene. By attracting a diverse range of exhibitors and collectors, the event not only boosts the local economy but also enhances Scottsdale's cultural profile. The fair provides a unique opportunity for galleries to reach new collectors and for attendees to engage with a wide variety of art forms. This expansion reflects a broader trend of regional art fairs gaining prominence, offering alternative platforms to the traditional art hubs of New York and Los Angeles.
What's Next?
As Scottsdale Art Week continues to grow, it is likely to attract even more international attention and participation in future editions. The success of this year's event could lead to increased investment in the local art scene and further collaborations with major art institutions. Stakeholders, including local businesses and cultural organizations, may seek to capitalize on the fair's momentum to promote Scottsdale as a key destination for art enthusiasts.
