C3ntro Telecom of Mexico and Telconet of Ecuador have announced a partnership to build a new subsea and terrestrial fiber network, CSN-2, connecting data centers in Mexico and Florida. The network will link Veracruz, Mexico, to Apalachee Beach, Florida,
with additional branches to Galveston, Texas, and potentially Bonita Beach, Florida. This infrastructure aims to enhance connectivity between Mexico, the U.S., and Latin America, supporting the growing demand for AI and hyperscale data centers. The project is part of a broader effort to create a high-capacity corridor across key infrastructure routes in the region.
