What's Happening?
Rakon has inaugurated a new ISO Class 8 cleanroom in Pont-Sainte-Marie, France, constructed by BEMIPHARM. This facility is intended to boost the production of Rakon's next-generation space subsystems, meeting NASA and ESA standards. The cleanroom will
enhance the manufacturing capacity for Rakon's Space GNSS Receivers and Master Reference Oscillator subsystems, which are crucial for precision timing and navigation in space. The facility spans nearly 100 square meters and supports high-reliability manufacturing processes, from material control to final assembly and testing.
Why It's Important?
The completion of this cleanroom is a strategic move for Rakon, as it allows the company to meet the growing demand for high-quality space subsystems. By increasing production capacity, Rakon can better serve the aerospace and defense sectors, providing critical components that ensure the reliability and accuracy of space missions. This development not only strengthens Rakon's position in the space industry but also supports advancements in satellite communications and navigation technologies, which are essential for modern space exploration and commercial satellite operations.
