Tundra Books, Canada's oldest English-language children's publisher, has been awarded the 2026 Bologna Prize for the Best Children's Publishers of the Year (BOP) for North America. The award was announced during the official ceremony at the Bologna Children's Book Fair,
held at the historic Palazzo Re Enzo. Tundra Books, known for its diverse range of titles for young readers, was recognized for its innovation, creativity, and quality editorial choices. The BOP awards, established in 2013, honor one publisher from each of six global regions, celebrating excellence in children's publishing. Other shortlisted publishers for North America included Simon & Schuster Children's Publishing and Tra Publishing from the USA.
