Jay Armstrong Johnson and Jimin Moon are set to star in 'Heated Rivalry: The Unauthorized Musical Parody,' which will have a fully staged run Off-Broadway. Directed by Alan Kliffer, the performances are scheduled to begin on May 12, with an official opening
on May 26 at the 6th Floor Theater, previously known as The McKittrick Hotel. The musical, featuring a book and score by Dylan MarcAurele, is inspired by an HBO Max series about a complex romance between two professional hockey players. Johnson will portray Ilya Rozanov, while Moon will play Shane Hollander. The production will also feature Ryann Redmond, Cherry Torres, and Ryan Duncan. Notably, Johnson will not perform from June 15-22.
