A study sponsored by the Council of Producers and Distributors of Agrotechnology (CPDA) reveals growing interest among farmers in biopesticides. The study surveyed 604 row-crop farmers and found a 9% increase in biopesticide use since 2024. The research
highlights strong awareness of biological crop inputs, including biopesticides, biofertilizers, and biostimulants, among nearly 90% of respondents. The CPDA has launched a Biopesticides Working Group to better understand the role of biopesticides in agriculture and support policies that facilitate their adoption.
