Vertiv, a leader in critical digital infrastructure, has announced a $50 million investment to expand its manufacturing operations in Ironton, Ohio, and its headquarters in Westerville, Ohio. This expansion aims to increase the production capacity of
liquid cooling and chilled water systems by approximately 45%, which are essential for high-density computing and AI applications. The expansion is expected to create hundreds of jobs by 2029 and is set to be operational by the second quarter of 2027. Vertiv's CEO, Giordano Albertazzi, emphasized the strategic importance of Ohio in the company's operations, highlighting the state's talent and support. Vertiv, originally founded as Liebert Corporation, has a significant presence in Ohio with 14 facilities dedicated to manufacturing, research, and customer services.
