The Basketball Africa League (BAL) has announced a record 15 marketing and merchandising partners for its 2026 season, which begins today at the SunBet Arena in Pretoria, South Africa. This includes five new partners: Amazon Web Services, FLEXX, PUMA,
Qatar Foundation, and South African Tourism. These join returning partners such as Rwanda Development Board, Wilson, AB InBev, Afreximbank, Air Senegal, Hyundai, RwandAir, the French Embassy of Senegal, ServiceNow, and Wave. The league's sixth season will be broadcast in over 200 countries, including all 54 African nations, through various platforms like Canal+, NBA TV, and the NBA App. BAL President Amadou Gallo Fall highlighted the growth and momentum of the league, emphasizing the role of these partnerships in engaging fans globally.
