Marco Chimenz, an Italian executive, has resigned from his position as co-managing director of Federation Studios, a Paris-based pan-European production and sales company. Chimenz joined Federation Studios in 2023 after spending over two decades at Italy's
ITV-Cattleya, known for producing 'Gomorrah.' During his tenure, Chimenz worked closely with Federation's founder and CEO Pascal Breton and co-director Lionel Uzan to streamline the studio and prepare it for a potential U.S. sale. Federation Studios comprises 35 production companies, including Federation Studio France, London's Vertigo Films, and Picture Perfect Federation in the U.S. Under Chimenz's leadership, Federation collaborated with Italian producer Alessandro Usai to launch No Name Entertainment in Italy. Pascal Breton expressed gratitude for Chimenz's contributions to the company's international growth. Lionel Uzan will assume the role of managing director alongside Breton as CEO.
