What's Happening?
SSM Health Treffert Studios is organizing a sensory-inclusive Touch a Truck event at the Fond du Lac County Airport on May 19. The event, scheduled from 4:30 to 6 p.m., aims to provide a welcoming environment for children and families to explore over
30 vehicles, including fire and police vehicles, construction and utility equipment, and airplanes. To accommodate individuals who benefit from reduced noise and stimulation, sirens, horns, and flashing lights will be turned off. The event is expected to attract more than 1,000 attendees and will feature strong community participation from public safety, transportation, construction, utilities, and local businesses. In case of rain, the event will be postponed to June 2.
