Levi Strauss & Co. has introduced the Levi's Regenerative and Resilient Landscape Initiative (LRI) in Pakistan, focusing on sustainable cotton farming. This initiative is part of the Regenerative Production
Landscape Collaborative, which aims to improve agricultural systems by conserving natural resources and building resilience to climate change. The program, supported by WWF-Pakistan and the Laudes Foundation, covers one million hectares across Brazil, India, Pakistan, and Tanzania. By December 2028, LRI aims to enhance water productivity, reduce synthetic inputs, increase soil organic matter, and plant 100,000 trees. The initiative also seeks to strengthen economic resilience for farming families by lowering costs and supporting climate adaptation. Launched in January 2026 in Punjab's Multan district, the program has already engaged 600 farmers and established 20 farmer field schools.
