What's Happening?
Teledyne FLIR Defense has announced the release of the Rogue 1 Block 2, an upgraded version of its unmanned aerial system, at SOF Week. The Block 2 upgrade includes a new anti-armor payload option using 'Shape Charge Jet' technology, doubling the operating
range to over 12 miles (20 km). The enhancements also feature redesigned propellers for improved efficiency, advanced battery technology for increased endurance, and improved autonomy and electronic warfare resilience. These upgrades are based on user feedback from the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Special Operations Command programs. The Rogue 1 Block 2 is now available for customer orders, with deliveries starting in Q3-2026.
