The system includes features like real-time monitoring and an integrated electronic Modified Early Obstetric Warning System (MEOWS) to alert clinicians to potential issues. The development of ANNE Maternal was supported by a $17.5 million grant from the Gates Foundation, aiming to improve maternal health in low- and middle-income countries.
