The Colorado Springs Switchbacks have signed forward Khori Bennett to a multiyear contract for the 2026 and 2027 seasons. Bennett, a Jamaican forward, previously played for Sacramento Republic FC, where
he scored five goals after joining the team mid-season. Prior to that, he led Las Vegas Lights FC in goals, helping them reach the playoffs for the first time. Bennett expressed enthusiasm about joining the Switchbacks, citing the team's competitive environment and passionate fan base. Alongside this signing, the Switchbacks have released their preseason schedule, which includes matches against Louisville City FC and New Mexico United in the 2026 Desert Showcase in Arizona. They will also host Union Omaha and Sacramento Republic FC in open-door matches, and play the University of Denver in a closed-door match.
