St. Clair County Community College is hosting a Juneteenth exhibit to celebrate African American history, culture, and achievements. The exhibit will open on June 11 at the SC4 Fine Arts Gallery in Port
Huron and will feature educational materials exploring the significance of Juneteenth. The exhibition will be available to the public until June 30.
Why It's Important?
Juneteenth commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans and is a significant cultural event. The exhibit at SC4 provides an opportunity for education and reflection on the contributions of African Americans to the nation's history.
