The Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) has signed a land lease agreement with South Korean company PH Creative (BD) Ltd. to establish a manufacturing industry in the BEPZA Economic Zone. The investment, valued at $24.03 million, will
focus on producing tents, camping items, garment accessories, and bags. The agreement was signed by Md Tanvir Hossain of BEPZA and Jin Ho Bae of PH Creative (BD) Ltd., with Major General Mohammad Moazzem Hossain witnessing the ceremony. The project is expected to create approximately 2,000 jobs for Bangladeshi nationals and includes the production of various outdoor and travel products.
