At the IGN Fan Fest 2026, the latest installment of the 'We Were Here' series, titled 'We Were Here Tomorrow,' was revealed. This new game in the cult co-op series introduces a fresh setting, moving away from the traditional snowy castles to the retrofuturistic
Norcek facility. The game maintains its core mechanics of cooperative puzzle-solving through walkie-talkie communication between two players, known as the Explorer and the Librarian. The developers, Total Mayhem Games, have emphasized new tools for puzzle-solving and enhanced asymmetry between the two player roles, offering unique perspectives and roles throughout the gameplay. The game is set to release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
