Garo Ohannessian, a senior at AGBU, an Armenian K-12 school in Canoga Park, has made a significant impact in high school basketball with his exceptional three-point shooting skills. Recently, Ohannessian set
a school record by making 13 three-pointers in a single game, scoring a career-high 45 points in a victory over Brawley on December 30. This performance is part of a successful season for the AGBU Titans, who currently hold a 13-2 record. Ohannessian, a four-year varsity player, has been instrumental in his team's success, showcasing his ability to shoot from anywhere on the court under the guidance of Coach Nareg Kopooshian. The team recently achieved a decisive win against Desert Christian Academy with a score of 62-24 during the Desert Holiday Tournament in Palm Springs.
