Arianne Phosphate Inc., a development-stage phosphate mining company, has signed a Joint Venture Framework Agreement with Travertine Technologies Inc. This agreement aims to produce purified phosphoric acid (PPA) using Travertine's proprietary process
combined with Arianne's high-purity phosphate concentrate. The process addresses cost and supply concerns in the sulphur and phosphate markets by using recycled sulfuric acid and eliminating phosphogypsum waste. The PPA produced will meet requirements for LFP batteries and other technical grades used in pharmaceuticals, semiconductor production, and food additives. Arianne and Travertine are conducting pilot scale testing and plan to establish a demonstration plant in Quebec.
