MK2 Films has announced its collaboration with Japanese director Koji Fukada on his latest film, 'Nagi Notes'. This marks the fifth partnership between MK2 Films and Fukada, known for his Cannes prize-winning
work. 'Nagi Notes' is set in the town of Nagi and follows the story of Yoriko, a sculptor influenced by a past love, and Yuri, a Tokyo architect dealing with a recent separation. The film is described as an exploration of intimate human relationships and contemporary Japanese society. It is produced by Hassaku Labs in Japan and Survivance in France, among others. MK2 Films will introduce the project to buyers at the European Film Market in Berlin.
