has established a distinguished global career in opera. The performance will be broadcast live on March 21 as part of the Met’s Live in HD series. In addition to his international engagements, Spyres serves as the artistic director of the Ozarks Lyric Opera in Springfield. Following his performance at the Metropolitan Opera, he will return to Missouri to participate in the Ozarks Lyric Opera’s upcoming production of 'The Sound of Music' on April 17 and 19.
