In the South Sound region, high school softball players are delivering remarkable performances. Freshman Jaycee Kemp from Puyallup High has emerged as a dominant pitcher, leading the region with 151 strikeouts and nine shutouts. Her impressive fastball
and curveball have made her a formidable opponent. Meanwhile, Jozi Thompson from Kentridge achieved a rare feat by striking out all 16 batters in a game against Auburn, showcasing her pitching prowess. Brooklyn Pettit from Graham-Kapowsin continues to excel, contributing significantly to her team's success with her pitching and hitting skills.
