What's Happening?
Echodyne has been announced as the primary radar system provider for Trust Automation's rapidly deployable small unmanned air defense system (RD-SUADS). The system, equipped with Echodyne's EchoShield radars, is designed to detect, classify, and track
unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) from 3 to 4.5 kilometers away. Trust Automation received a $490 million contract from the U.S. Air Force for developing counter-unmanned aircraft system capabilities. This collaboration aims to enhance the operational efficiency and readiness of defense systems against UAV threats.
