What's Happening?
The Government of Karnataka has announced the winners of the third edition of the C-CAMP Agriculture Grand Challenges Innovations Programme. This initiative, supported by the Karnataka government, aims to advance precision farming, climate resilience,
and sustainable agriculture solutions. Six agri-tech startups have been selected as winners, including Biosouk Innovations Private Limited, Contrivation Labs Pvt. Ltd., Earthworks Biomat Private Limited, Farms2fork Technologies Private Limited, Rootskart Agritech Private Limited, and Vapac Bioplastics Private Limited. These startups will receive investment and ecosystem support to further their innovative solutions. The programme, launched in 2021, is a flagship initiative by the Agri Centre of Excellence at C-CAMP and has previously identified nine startups to address gaps in Indian agriculture through cutting-edge science and innovation.
