OPay has announced the appointment of James Perry as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective December 1. Perry will be responsible for leading OPay's financial strategy, capital planning, and investor relations as the company continues to expand its fintech ecosystem across Africa and globally. With nearly 30 years of industry experience, Perry has previously worked at Citigroup for 28 years, including 15 years as Managing Director and Head of Asia Pacific Technology Investment Banking. He also served briefly as CFO of Zilingo. Perry's extensive experience includes helping companies raise approximately $180 billion in equity and debt capital and advising on over $80 billion in M&A transactions.
