Korean Register (KR) has launched an upgraded version of its maritime conventions database, known as KR-CON, incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) features to assist shipowners in managing regulatory complexities. The new Version 24 of the platform
introduces improved search functionalities and a restructured classification system, enhancing access to international maritime regulations. This update is timely as amendments to key frameworks by the International Maritime Organization (IMO), such as the SOLAS and MARPOL Conventions, continue to evolve.
