Stanford Live and Stanford Athletics, in collaboration with Live Nation, have announced that the globally renowned K-pop group BTS will perform at Stanford Stadium on May 16 and 17, 2026. This event is part of BTS's largest world tour to date, which includes 79 shows across 34 regions. The Stanford shows will be the second musical act at the stadium, following Coldplay's concerts last year. Tickets will be available through a presale for ARMY MEMBERSHIP holders starting January 22, with a general
sale beginning January 24.
Why It's Important?

By hosting such a high-profile event, Stanford not only enhances its reputation as a venue for world-class entertainment but also provides a platform for cultural exchange and engagement. This event is significant for the U.S. music industry as it highlights the growing influence of K-pop and its ability to draw large audiences. For BTS, this tour represents a continuation of their global success and influence, further solidifying their status as cultural icons. The event is expected to attract fans from across the country, boosting local tourism and the economy.
What's Next?
As the concert dates approach, fans and ARMY MEMBERSHIP holders will prepare for the presale and general ticket sales. The event is likely to prompt increased interest in K-pop and similar cultural events at U.S. venues.
