WarpFrog, the developer of the VR game Blade and Sorcery: Nomad, has released the Sentara update, which is the second of four planned content updates known as the Byeth Updates. This free update introduces a new maritime-themed map inspired by Mediterranean
sea nations from the Age of Sail, complete with lighthouses and pirate ships. The update also adds new weapons and armor that reflect the historical maritime theme, including cutlasses, stiletto daggers, harpoons, and dueling swords. Notably, the update includes firearms that operate on crystals instead of gunpowder. Additionally, a new physics system has been implemented to simulate buoyancy, affecting how objects float in water based on their weight. Alongside the Sentara map, a new map themed around the Rakta faction, which was introduced in the first Byeth Update, is also available for exploration in the game's sandbox and Crystal Hunt modes. Blade and Sorcery: Nomad is available on Meta Quest and Pico headsets, while the original Blade and Sorcery is available on PC VR via Steam.
