DJ Vonnahme, a tight end for the Iowa Hawkeyes, has been named to the AP All-Bowl Team following his standout performance in the ReliaQuest Bowl. Vonnahme, a walk-on player, emerged as a key offensive
asset for Iowa after being thrust into action due to injuries. In the bowl game against Vanderbilt, he recorded a career-high with seven receptions for 146 yards and a touchdown, leading Iowa to a 34-27 victory. Throughout the season, Vonnahme accumulated 29 catches for 434 yards and three touchdowns, becoming a reliable target for quarterback Mark Gronowski.
