What's Happening?
Israeli cybersecurity startup Huskeys has emerged from stealth mode with an $8 million seed funding round. Founded in 2025 by Israeli intelligence veterans Itai Gafni and Roy Weisfeld, the Tel Aviv-based company has developed an edge security management
(ESM) platform. This platform is designed to address the complexities of modern environments that traditional web application firewalls (WAFs) cannot handle. Huskeys' ESM platform provides a control pane across multi-cloud and multi-WAF environments, gathering signals, enriching them with environmental context, and analyzing business logic, traffic behavior, and risk. The platform orchestrates rules, policies, and configurations, continuously assessing and adapting them to ensure security optimization and desired business outcomes. The company has already seen adoption by dozens of global organizations, particularly those that rely heavily on web traffic for revenue. The funding round was supported by investors including 10D, Alumni Ventures, CCL, Merlin Ventures, SVAngel, The Players Fund, and toDay, along with multiple angel investors.
Why It's Important?
The emergence of Huskeys and its innovative ESM platform is significant in the cybersecurity landscape, particularly for businesses that depend on web traffic as a core revenue driver. Traditional WAFs often act as business blockers due to their limitations in handling complex modern environments. Huskeys' platform aims to transform these blockers into revenue generators by integrating quickly and delivering value rapidly. This development is crucial for enhancing security measures in multi-cloud environments, which are increasingly common in today's digital economy. The funding will enable Huskeys to expand its platform's capabilities and grow its channel partnerships, potentially setting new standards in edge security management. As cyber threats continue to evolve, the need for advanced security solutions like those offered by Huskeys becomes more pressing, impacting industries across the board.
What's Next?
With the new funding, Huskeys plans to further develop its platform and expand its market reach. The company is likely to focus on enhancing its technology to better serve its existing clients and attract new ones. As it continues to grow, Huskeys may also explore additional partnerships and collaborations to strengthen its position in the cybersecurity market. The success of this funding round could lead to further investment opportunities, allowing Huskeys to scale its operations and potentially influence the broader cybersecurity industry. Stakeholders, including businesses relying on web traffic, will be watching closely to see how Huskeys' platform evolves and how it can be integrated into their existing security frameworks.
