A new workout program, Military Muscle at Home, designed by trainer and Army veteran Erik Bartell, is gaining attention for its unique approach to fitness. This four-week plan, available to Men's Health MVP Premium members, focuses on bodyweight exercises
and cardiovascular endurance without the need for traditional gym equipment. The program includes five exercise days per week, alternating between cardio and strength training, with two rest days. Participants engage in activities such as endurance runs, upper and lower body strength exercises, and rucking, which involves walking with a weighted backpack. The program emphasizes the importance of mastering bodyweight exercises to build strength and stamina, while also incorporating assessments to track progress. Additionally, a nutrition plan designed by Jim White, RD, complements the workout by providing meal prep guidance to support muscle building and recovery.
