What's Happening?
Eni has initiated production at the Ndungu full-field located in the western area of Block 15/06 offshore Angola. This development is part of the Agogo Integrated West Hub Project, which is operated by Azule Energy. The project involves the drilling of seven
production wells and four injection wells. Eni anticipates that the output from the Ndungu field will peak at 60,000 barrels of oil per day (bopd). The production commenced six months after the Agogo floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) unit achieved its first oil. The initial production from Ndungu is being routed through the N’goma FPSO, with plans to later transition to the Agogo FPSO. This strategy is designed to ensure consistent long-term production from Block 15/06 and to support Angola's national petroleum output targets. Combined production from the Agogo and Ndungu fields is expected to reach approximately 175,000 bopd.
