What's Happening?
Girls on the Run Vermont is set to host a 5K event on May 30 at the Champlain Valley Exposition in Essex Junction. The event will celebrate the achievements of over 1,300 participants from the Girls on the Run and Heart & Sole teams in northern Vermont.
Supported by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Vermont and presented by M&T Bank, the event will also involve more than 400 volunteer coaches, 500 running buddies, and over 100 volunteers. The 5K is open to the public, with proceeds benefiting the Girls on the Run Vermont's Every Girl Fund, which provides financial assistance to ensure all girls can participate. Registration is open until May 27, with different fees for children, alumni, and adults.
