ahead of their game against the Cincinnati Reds. During his rehabilitation, Triolo played in Class A Bradenton and Double-A Altoona, where he hit .278 with one home run and three RBIs. To accommodate Triolo's return, the Pirates optioned Nick Yorke to Triple-A Indianapolis.
